Electrical and Mechanical Characteristics Assessment of Wind Turbine System Employing Acoustic Sensors and Matrix Converter

Permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG)-based wind turbine systems have a wide range of applications, notably, for higher-rated energy conversion (WECS). A WECS involves integrating several components to generate electrical power effectively on large scale due the advanced model. However, it offers glitches during operation various factors, mechanical and stresses. This work focuses evaluating characteristics using two individual schemes. Firstly, turbines were examined assess vibrational signatures drive train different speed profiles. To apply this need, acoustic sensors employed that record vibration signals. substantial environmental impacts, noises are logged with observed signal from sensors. Therefore, adapted empirical wavelet transform (EWT) frequency magnitude avoid failures. Further, matrix converter (MC) input filters was enhance efficiency system reduced harmonic contents injected into grid. The simulated results reveal filter attained significant about 95.75% outperformed other existing converting techniques. Moreover, total distortion (THD) voltage current found be at least 8.24% 3.16%, respectively. Furthermore, signals show minimum low profile higher medium rather than profile. Consolidating these both characteristics, can perceived combination schemes improves quality generated pre-estimation failures EWT.
